Family Matters

Fingerpicking
I’m gonna be honest. I’m really tired of some of the artists these days fingerpicking chords, and individual notes, just because it USED to be really good/cool to hear in a song.
I miss picks. I miss songs full of chord strumming. I miss musicality. I miss songs made for the sake of music, not for the sake of popularity *ahem* girls *ahem*. That’s all great and everything, but...

Mine would have to be the power of teleportation, because traffic, gas prices, air pollution, state inspections & emissions, the DMV, cops, car maintenance, car washes, stupid ass VA drivers, speed limits, potholes, and deer have been my bank account’s and my sworn enemies since I was 16.

One Day Production
Last night I slept mad early. I want to say like 12 (it’s early for me ok?! Lay off me, lol) or around that time. I woke up at 9 a.m., and that’s one of the earliest times I’ve woken up all summer! Balikbayan
Last week, I cleared out my entire closet. My clothes date back to 2003. 6 years of accumulated clothes. Finally, 90% of it has been removed! I have 5 trash bags of clothes that I don’t wear, mainly because they don’t fit me anymore. Now, it’s time to put them in Balikbayan boxes, and send them off to my cousins, back in the homeland! :D
